Responsibilities of a Site Engineer: Set out site works accurately using GPS, total station, and laser levels. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site operatives. Monitor and control site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and standards. Implement and maintain quality control systems. Prepare and maintain inspection and test plans (ITPs), checklists, and quality records. Assist with tracking progress against the project program. Report to the Project/Site Manager on progress, issues, and resource needs. Keep accurate site records including daily diaries, material deliveries, and site inspections. Liaise with the procurement team regarding material orders and deliveries. Inspect and verify material quality and compliance upon delivery. Experience: A third level qualification in Civil Engineering Experience working with a main contractor would be preferred.
