This is a hands-on position that blends operational HR with trusted partnering, offering real scope to shape how HR supports a modern, expanding accounting practice. Responsibilities Acting as the first point of contact for employee and manager HR queries Advising on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning as the firm grows Reviewing and improving HR policies, processes, and documentation Partnering with leaders on performance management, development, and engagement Supporting change initiatives, including organisational growth and role design Managing HR data, reporting, and systems to support informed decision-making Ideal candidate 4+ years experience across generalist HR or HR business partnering The confidence to influence and advise senior stakeholders A practical, people-centred approach with sound judgement An appreciation of diverse working styles, backgrounds, and career stages The ability to adapt in a changing, growth-oriented environment A CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable, along with relevant education in Human Resources or Business.
