We are seeking a highly skilled cost professional to join our project team in Ireland. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires close collaboration with project managers, engineers, procurement, and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractors.
* Prepare cost calculations for emerging technologies.
* Support general costing queries raised by the sales department.
* Assist in developing financial status reports for active contracts.
* Contribute to the design and implementation of cost configurators.
* Support continuous improvement of internal costing processes.
* Prepare budget estimates during project pre-costing phase.
* Generate cost estimates for production and optional technical features in tenders.
* Participate in contract financial reviews.
Qualifications & Competencies:
* 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
* Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is essential.
* Ability to interpret technical specifications and connect design with cost impact.
* Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office.
