Job Summary:
The Caretaker is responsible for providing an effective liaison between the employer, and tenants, to maintain the development and to ensure the correct, tenant like use and occupation of the buildings and grounds.
The suitable candidate will
Inspect relevant buildings, grounds, health & safety equipment, and report any repairs or defects.
Supervise the security and use of the building and facilitate access to Tuath contractors.
Carry out maintenance as required including rubbish removal, meter reading painting and carpentry work.
Coordinate daily health and safety checks on any future proposed amenities and complete monthly online inspection forms.
Assist the Housing team with mail delivery, annual unit inspections, and community engagement initiatives.
Report any incidents of anti-social behaviour and attend after-hours emergencies if required.
Requirements:
Own vehicle and full clean driving license required.
Good understanding of MS Office.
Previous experience in caretaking, carpentry, painting, or related area.
Experience of working with the public in a customer-oriented environment.
Knowledge of GDPR and Health & Safety requirements.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Carry out any other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time.
