The position involves developing and maintaining Cloud-Based Services for an IoT scenario. These services have been developed using an older version of .NET. The company requires an experienced .NET engineer to port these services to the newer .NET Core framework and to add new features. Ideally, the Software Engineer will be familiar with both .NET 4.x and .NET Core and have C# experience.
* ASP.Net
* Knowledge of the Microsoft SQL Server database management system: SQL, management, security, etc.
* AWS knowledge
* Knowledge of systems for automating computer application deployment, scaling, and management such as Kubernetes (desirable)
* Git/Bitbucket: branching, merging, rebase, etc.
Very useful to have:
* Experience with deploying multi-tenant solutions (with AWS in particular)
* MS SQL Server sharding across multiple regions (ideally in an AWS environment)
Nice to have:
* JavaScript/HTML/CSS
* Kubernetes
* Microservices
* CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Azure Pipelines)
* Docker
* Python
Education
* Primary Degree in Electronics, Software Engineering, or related fields.
