About Your New Job As aQuality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across all projects. You will: Develop and enforce robust quality control and assurance (QA/QC) processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Establish and implement tailored quality management plans for each project. Coordinate customer and supplier inspections, audits, and testing procedures to ensure compliance with stringent quality standards, industry regulations, and client expectations. Conduct quality engineering reviews of design documentation, vendor quality manuals, and company quality records. Perform in-process and final inspections of fabricated parts and work-in-progress (WIP), including visual weld inspections (training provided). Maintain and process relevant documentation, including EN1090 & EN3834 records, PED vessel certification, and data quality packs for customers upon project completion. Support the operation and maintenance of ISO9001:2015 QMS and prepare for NSAI external audits. Manage and maintain supplier and subcontractor databases, ensuring up-to-date quality records. Perform data analysis and visualization to drive continuous improvement initiatives and monitor quality program metrics. What Skills You Need to Become a Quality Engineer Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline. 3-5 years of experience in a similar quality control and assurance (QA/QC) role. Strong understanding of industry best practices, quality standards, and compliance processes. Experience with pressure vessel certification to PED and engagement with third-party Notified Bodies is an advantage. Familiarity with process validation and documentation within regulated industries is beneficial. Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in advanced MS Excel or equivalent data analysis tools. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
