Head of People Operations
My client, a fast-growing, multi-site commercial enterprise, has partnered exclusively with Re:work to hire a Head of People Operations. This is a critical senior role reporting directly to the Chief People Officer.
The Role
This is a 12 month fixed-term contract offering genuine strategic and operational ownership of the HR function across a multi-jurisdictional, high-growth business. You'll lead a team of HR professionals, drive organisational design, workforce transformation, and complex change initiatives whilst maintaining hands-on delivery when needed. This role suits an experienced HR leader who thrives in fast-paced, agile environments and can build strong stakeholder relationships whilst navigating complexity and rapid change.

They operate across multiple jurisdictions and are investing in their HR infrastructure to support ongoing expansion. This role leads an HR team supporting multi-site operations in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead and develop a team of HR professionals across multiple regions, ensuring consistent, high-quality HR support
* Partner closely with senior operations leaders, providing pragmatic, risk-aware HR advice aligned to business objectives across multiple jurisdictions
* Provide HR leadership on business transformation initiatives, including M&A, TUPE, and workforce planning
* Advise on organisational design, rightsizing, and restructuring initiatives, managing consultation processes, redundancies, and workforce transitions in line with legislation and best practice
* Own complex employee relations matters across all regions, providing expert advice on performance, conduct, grievances, and tribunal mitigation
* Maintain strong working knowledge of employment law across Ireland and the UK, with international experience highly desirable
* Drive continuous improvement of HR processes across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding
What We're Looking For
* Strong experience in senior HR leadership roles
* Experience from multi-site businesses such as FMCG, retail, or hospitality operations is highly desirable
* Exposure to M&A activity, TUPE processes, or large-scale change programmes is highly desirable
* Strong expertise in employment law across Ireland and the UK, with international experience highly desirable
* Demonstrated experience leading organisational design, restructures, and workforce change programmes, including redundancies and consultation processes
* Resilience and agility; you're comfortable working in an environment where priorities shift
* Ability to see the bigger picture and drive strategy, but you're equally comfortable with hands on delivery
What's On Offer
* Salary: €90,000-€95,000 + Benefits
* 12 month fixed term contract
* Hybrid working: 3 days per week on-site
How They Work
This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite per week at the Dublin head office. There is occasional travel for team engagement and in-person meetings. The culture is fast-paced, agile, and relationship-driven, building trust and navigating influence is key to success.
