POSITION TITLE: Director of Sales
REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Sales, Europe

LOCATION: Dublin, Ireland
PURPOSE:
Responsible for driving sales of PTI products and services to existing and prospective customers, serving as the primary point of contact, and consistently achieving defined sales targets. Builds and fosters strong, long-term customer relationships by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions. Accountable for identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory, developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, and negotiating to close deals that meet or exceed revenue goals.
FUNCTIONS:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities with prospective tenants for PTI assets through networking, research, prospecting, meetings, and presentations.
* Proactively market existing and upcoming PTI assets to Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and other potential tenants within the assigned territory.
* Develop proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral to support client acquisition and business development efforts.
* Manage sales funnel and pipeline, providing accurate regional forecasts and performance updates.
* Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term partnerships.
* Design and execute a commercial strategy aligned with budgetary objectives for the territory.
* Collaborate effectively with internal teams and departments to optimise sales efforts.
* Understand customer requirements, anticipate challenges, and resolve issues promptly, including participation in development meetings as needed.
* Track and report key metrics, ensuring timely updates of sales activities and forecasts.
* Resolve customer concerns and complaints efficiently to maximise satisfaction.
* Gather and share market intelligence to inform pricing strategies, acquisitions, and business planning.
* Represent PTI professionally and safeguard the company's interests at all times.
* Prepare and present sales, revenue, and expense reports, along with realistic forecasts, to senior management.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This role involves a combination of office and field work, with local and international travel as required. Hybrid working model with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration or similar field, MBA a plus
* 5 years proven experience as a sales manager with a track record of success
* Tower, infrastructure or telecom related industry experience a plus
* Results oriented, diligent, persistent, self-motivated and attention to detail
* Basic knowledge of real estate, property management, zoning, and construction
* Experience negotiating long-term contracts, building and maintaining long-term relationships
* Contacts in the field of telecommunications with knowledge of the market and customers a plus
* Ability to manage complex projects and multitask, project management skills a plus
* Disciplined, organized, and thorough individual who is a self-starter
* Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
* Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
* Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
* Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
* Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
* Effective in an entrepreneurial culture, working independently and as part of a team
* English proficiency is required
