Key responsibilities:
* Ensure smooth daily operations in the kitchen (menu prep, ordering, stock take, cleaning etc)
* Menu design and development, ensuring the highest food standards
* Training and supervision of the kitchen team
* Management of all kitchen costs in line with budgetary requirements
* Ensure strict control of all stock and delivery protocols
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring adherence to and proper recording of all relevant legislation (HACCP, Hygiene, H&S, Fire etc)
The ideal candidate:
* Previous Head Chef experience in a high-end / premium venue
* A passion for innovative, international cuisine
* High level of organisation
* Proven training and management ability
* Strong understanding of business management with proven track record of managing budgets and costs
* Effective communicator and collaborator with other departments
