The Role
As Vice President – Investor Onboarding
, you will lead a high-performing team within the Transfer Agency AML department, ensuring the seamless delivery of AML/KYC services to clients. Acting as a senior member of the management team, you will drive operational excellence, oversee regulatory compliance, and champion a culture of continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and developing a client-facing AML/KYC team within Transfer Agency.
* Acting as an escalation point for client queries, ensuring exceptional standards of service.
* Driving operational efficiency, resource planning, and performance management.
* Overseeing investor onboarding, remediation, and ongoing monitoring programmes.
* Supporting strategic initiatives to build scale and enhance client experience.
* Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and risk management requirements.
* Collaborating with global colleagues to align and streamline processes.
* Leading outsourcing oversight for AML and screening functions.
About You
You will be a technically strong, client-focused professional with extensive experience in Transfer Agency operations and AML/KYC. With a background in fund administration and at least five years in a management role, you bring both strategic insight and hands-on leadership skills.
Essential experience & skills:
* 8–10 years in fund administration, including significant management experience.
* Strong knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and associated frameworks.
* Proven ability to lead teams, manage resources, and deliver to high standards.
* Excellent client relationship management skills.
* Strong adaptability, problem-solving ability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
Desirable:
* Financial services qualifications.
* Experience with risk management frameworks and ISAE standards.
* Exposure to a variety of fund structures (e.g., offshore, Irish domiciled, limited partnerships).
