Job Title: Part-Time Maintenance TechnicianProperty: Oriel House HotelResponsible To: General Manager /Deputy General ManagerOverall Job Purpose:Plan, direct and oversee a cost effective and preventative maintenance plan for external and internal facilities, and ensure a safe working environment for all employees. To maintain a high standard of repair throughout the building at all times.Role Specific DutiesTo arrive for work on time dressed in full clean uniform, name badge, well-groomed and presenting a professional appearance to our guestsAdhere to company's Clocking Policy To ensure to check handover book for any special duties to be carried out on your shift.To manage maintenance schedules and budgets.Delivering planned and property maintenance.To liaise with the General Manager to prioritise on a daily basis maintenance work to be completed.Responsible for ensuring that all certificates of compliance are maintained and up to date in accordance with relevant legislation.Responsible for all external maintenance to include and manage the upkeep of carpark, hotel and surrounding areas.To deal with internal and external queries in a professional and friendly manner.Recording daily maintenance activities.Running an efficient repairs reporting system.Responding quickly to emergencies.Running a preventive maintenance program that will minimize service in the long run.To ensure a high standard of service and attention to detail within hotel.Health & SafetyEnsure high standards of health and safety are always maintainedEnsure the storage areas are kept in a clean, tidy and safe conditionEnsure any faults or problems with equipment are reported to ManagementTo take a proactive involvement in Health and Safety, ensuring to report and where possible act on incidents, accidents or damage in the Hotel.
