This is an investigative and operational role where you will conduct inspections, gather intelligence, carry out audits, and build strong partnerships with enforcement agencies. You will be the face of compliance, tackle illegal waste activities, and contribute to a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable future.Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate and report on illegal waste activity.Inspect and audit waste producers, facilities, collection permit holders, and waste in transit.Collect, manage, and interpret data on waste activities.Conduct surveillance (overt and covert) when required.Prepare detailed reports, record findings, and update case management systems.Give evidence in court proceedings where necessary.Collaborate with enforcement partners including Local Authorities, the Environmental Protection Agency, An Garda Síochána, and Customs & Revenue Service.What We’re Looking ForYou’ll bring a blend of technical expertise, investigative skills, and strong communication abilities.
