This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on and ambitious operations professional to join a scaling business at a pivotal stage of growth. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting day‑to‑day operations while helping to build structure, capability, and team performance as the business expands.
You will be equally comfortable operating on the warehouse floor and leading teams, ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency across all activities.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Support the daily running of warehouse operations including inbound, storage, picking, and dispatchEnsure all customer SLAs and KPIs are consistently achievedMonitor and manage labour utilisation, productivity, and workflow efficiencyProactively identify and resolve operational challenges in real timeMaintain strong inventory control and stock accuracy
People Leadership
Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse teams and team leadsSupport hiring, onboarding and training as the operation scalesDrive a high‑performance, accountable and engaged team cultureManage performance, attendance and employee relations matters
Process Improvement & Scaling
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costsSupport the development and rollout of SOPs and best practicesContribute to growth initiatives including new client onboarding and operational expansion
Health & Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to all health & safety regulations and company policiesPromote a strong safety‑first culture across the siteSupport internal and external audits
Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliersSupport the delivery of high service levels and strong client relationships
Key Requirements
3‑5+ years' experience in logistics, warehousing or 3PL environmentsPrevious supervisory or team leadership experienceStrong hands‑on approach with the ability to lead from the frontExperience in fast‑paced, high‑volume operationsSolid understanding of warehouse KPIs and operational performance metricsExcellent communication and people management skillsProven ability to operate effectively in a scaling or changing environmentStrong problem‑solving capability with a proactive mindset
Desirable
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Exposure to Lean or continuous improvement methodologiesHealth & Safety certification
