Urgent IT Infrastructure Specialist
This on-site role requires the utilization of technical knowledge to maintain a robust SCCM environment, including security updates, maintenance, and operational troubleshooting. A high focus is placed on vulnerability management.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
* OS Updates, Application Updates, and Vulnerability Management are key areas of focus for this role.
* Design, deploy, and maintain SCCM infrastructure components, including site servers, distribution points, and management points.
* Create, maintain, and develop Windows images for deployment.
* Ensure the scalability and high availability of SCCM infrastructure.
* Create and maintain device collections and deployment packages within SCCM.
* Deploy and manage operating system images, software updates, and applications to endpoints.
* Implement zero-touch and user-driven provisioning for new devices.
* Develop and execute patch management strategies to keep endpoints up-to-date and secure.
* Develop new and modify existing group policy objects to configure user environment settings.
* Test and deploy software updates and patches using SCCM.
* Enforce security policies and compliance standards on endpoints through SCCM.
* Respond to security incidents and apply remediation measures.
* Investigate and resolve endpoint-related issues, including software installation failures, performance problems, and configuration errors.
* Perform routine analysis to resolve problems with computer, telecommunication, or network environments.
* Assist with loss prevention efforts related to security cameras and monitoring procedures.
* Maintain detailed documentation of SCCM configurations, policies, and procedures.
* Collaborate with end users to ensure compliance with customer support policies and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this position, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
* An Associate's Degree or relevant certifications or experience is necessary.
* A minimum of 3-5 years' experience as an SCCM Engineer (System Center Configuration Manager) and MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager).
* 3+ years' experience with Active Directory and group policy management.
* Experience with PowerShell scripting.
* Knowledge of application packaging, deployments, and customization.
* Familiarity with endpoint security solutions and best practices.
* Experience in designing, developing, and implementing software systems, including End User, Server, and Cloud system configurations and performance tuning.
* The ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities are desired.
* The ability to be available after hours as needed and work an assigned rotation schedule.
