Microsoft Power BI Developer – Finance and Operational Data

About the Role and Company
A well-established European firm operating in high-tech infrastructure delivery is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join its internal systems and analytics team. The company is a trusted partner in delivering complex, large-scale technical projects across multiple countries.
This role supports the organisation’s evolving data and reporting needs across Finance, HR, Payroll, and internal service management. You’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on building scalable, secure, and insightful reporting solutions.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for multiple departments.
* Connect and model data from various enterprise systems including ERP, HR/payroll, and service management platforms.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy and usability.
* Manage data refresh schedules, pipelines, and shared datasets across reporting environments.
* Provide second-line support for reporting issues escalated by junior team members.
* Implement data security measures, including user-level access controls.
* Ensure reporting standards are upheld, including documentation and version control.
Candidate Profile
Required:
* 3+ years of experience in business intelligence/reporting development.
* Strong skills in data modelling, transformation logic, and dashboard design.
* Experience working with ERP and HR/payroll systems, and integrating data via APIs or connectors e.g. Oracle NetSuite.
* Solid understanding of financial and HR data structures.
* Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred:
* Familiarity with cloud-based ERP and HR platforms.
* Experience with service management tools and reporting.
* Certification in data analytics or business intelligence platforms e.g. Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate.
* Exposure to automation tools or low-code platforms.
