Python Automation Engineer (Localization & AI)
6-Month Contract | Cork | Hybrid (2-3 Days Onsite)
We're partnering with a global technology organisation seeking a Python-focused engineer to help build and scale AI-powered localisation workflows.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Python development skills, experience integrating systems via REST APIs, and an interest in leveraging LLMs and automation to improve multilingual content delivery.
Key Requirements
Experience building and consuming REST APIs
Exposure to LLMs, Generative AI, or AI-powered applications
Fluent English plus at least one additional language
Available to work onsite in Cork 2-3 days per week
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and maintain Python-based automation solutions supporting localisation and translation workflows
Integrate LLMs into production environments to improve translation and content quality processes
Build and manage REST API integrations between localisation platforms and internal systems
Design automated quality evaluation frameworks for multilingual content
Troubleshoot and optimise localisation pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, AI/ML, and Localization teams to drive automation initiatives
What We're Looking For
3+ years' experience in Software Engineering, Automation Engineering, Localization Engineering, or a related technical field
Experience working with APIs and system integrations
Understanding of cloud-based applications and distributed systems
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills
