Senior Physiotherapist – Fermoy, Co. Cork, Ireland. St. Joseph's Foundation is a voluntary organisation providing comprehensive services for people with intellectual disabilities. The Foundation operates across the North Cork and Southwest Limerick region and offers services including early intervention, pre-school, school, adult day services, residential, respite care, elder care and home support. The Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT 5) is based in Fermoy.
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join the Children’s Disability Network Team based in Fermoy, Co. Cork (CDNT 5). The contract type is 0.4 WTE.

Objectve
To work as a senior member of an interdisciplinary team providing services to children aged 0–18 and their families within the region. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a physiotherapy service including assessment, diagnostics and intervention, clinical and performance supervision and ongoing service delivery to school‑aged children with a wide range of disabilities.
Responsibilities
* Plan and organise individual and group caseloads, including assessments, interventions and diagnosis.
* Demonstrate sound administrative practice and protocol in decisions.
* Demonstrate clinical skills in assessment, intervention and diagnostics to meet the needs of the caseload.
* Facilitate staff development by providing clinical supervision, mentoring, coaching and formal development planning.
* Build credibility and portray the profession/service in a positive light by being professional and well informed.
* Communicate effectively in multiple formats (oral, written and electronic).
Qualifications & Requirements
* Hold a Degree and be registered in the Physiotherapy Register, maintained by the CORU Physiotherapists Registration Board.
* Qualify for Registration with The Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) is required.
* Experience of working with children with complex disabilities and/or autism.
* Experience of working as part of an Interdisciplinary Team.
* Minimum of three years post‑qualification experience.

* Be aware of the Foundation’s duties and employee duties under the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work legislation.
* Ensure fire and safety precautions are implemented and maintained.
* Have knowledge of emergency action and plans.
* Be responsible for the general safety and maintenance of equipment provided for duties and maintain a current inventory.
* Ensure that all accidents/incidents are reported, documented and followed up using the online incident reporting system.
