The Naval Service is seeking highly motivated and physically fit individuals to join our team as General Service Recruits.
Job Description:
We are now recruiting for General Service Recruits to join the Naval Service. The selected candidates will undergo a 12-week initial Recruit Training, followed by branch-specific training before qualifying as an Able Rate.
As a General Service Recruit, you will form the backbone of the Naval Service, providing essential support to our operations. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in various areas, including maintenance, boat operations, firefighting, damage control, and naval boarding teams.
After completing your training, you will be promoted to Ordinary Rate and assigned to a Naval Service ship, where you will take part in a two-year sea rotation. Further training opportunities are available for those who wish to specialise and advance their careers within the Naval Service.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Age: 18-39 years
* Irish or EU citizenship
* Good character
* Pass security clearance
* Minimum standards of medical and physical fitness
