Site Supervisor – Wastewater Framework

A well‑established utilities contractor is currently delivering a long‑term wastewater framework across the South East and wider mainland Ireland. Due to sustained workload and continued contract awards, they are now seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to support the delivery of wastewater and network upgrade works across a regional patch.This is a stable, framework‑based role with a strong pipeline of work and long‑term career prospects.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of wastewater works across multiple live sites. This is a hands‑on, site‑based position suited to someone with experience working in operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day supervision of crews and subcontractors on wastewater sites
Coordinating works on live assets including treatment plants, pump stations and networks
Implementing RAMS, permits, isolations and site safety procedures
Liaising with client representatives and internal project teams
Monitoring progress, quality and productivity on site
Maintaining site records, daily reports and job close‑out documentation
Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
The Person
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience as a Site Supervisor / General Foreman / Chargehand
Background in wastewater, water, utilities, civils or M&E infrastructure
Experience working on live operational sites
Strong understanding of health & safety and permit‑controlled environments
Ability to manage crews, subcontractors and short‑term programmes
Full driving licence and flexibility to travel regionally
Experience working on Irish Water / Uisce Éireann frameworks would be a strong advantage, but is not essential.
