Job Title: Industrial Automation Specialist
Job Description:
* Install, maintain, inspect, repair, and troubleshoot fully automated warehousing systems at customer sites.
* Provide responsive telephone and on-site support.
* Participate in an on-call rota to maintain seven-day cover for key customers.
* Fault-finding and troubleshooting issues in corrective maintenance.
* Liaise with the office team and other staff members.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance at customer sites.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum of 10 years' electrical and mechanical field service experience; relevant experience as a Technician/Engineer essential.
* Qualification via training, diploma, degree, or a time-served apprenticeship in a relevant field; a degree or equivalent in electronic/electro-mechanical engineering preferred.
* IT, networking, and PC-based diagnostics and repair skills advantageous.
* Capable of working independently at customer sites.
* IT literate with familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong safety mindset with excellent attention to detail.
* Technically minded problem solver with strong communication skills.
* Fluent in written and spoken English.
* Full, clean driving licence essential.
Benefits:
* Base salary: €45,000 per annum plus on-call, with expected total earnings of around €60,000.
