Position Description:
The Area Business Manager (ABM) will directly manage a minimum of 5 Territory Sales Executives and support other FTEs within the business area, in meeting set goals across all channels – Retail, Partnership, PAYGO, and Collections.
Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing and managing revenue and operational activities of all channels within the coverage area.
* Onboarding and managing ECs with support from TSEs.
* Driving customer management and retention.
* Supporting, supervising, and managing FTEs across coverage areas.
* Training FTEs (TSEs) and contract staff (SEPs and ECs).
* Overseeing channel development, management, and TOMA activities.
* Managing delinquency issues.
* Managing business partners, driving ROI, and exploring new opportunities.
* Supporting HR in candidate recommendations for resource gaps.
Requirements include:
* Channel management skills and regional industry knowledge (FMCG, Telecom, Insurance, Renewable Energy).
* Experience with South East, South South, and North zones of Nigeria.
* Passion for social enterprise, people development, and environmental issues.
* Good coaching, leadership, and managerial skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and industry knowledge.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications.
* Discretion and confidentiality.
