Role of Tax Specialist
Key responsibilities within our client's tax department, directly reporting to the Tax Director and Manager.
* Preparing and submitting tax returns for income, corporation, capital gains, capital acquisitions, and VAT purposes.
* Conducting research and reviewing tax legislation and guidelines issued by Revenue.
* Supporting in the preparation of tax advisory reports and addressing client queries.
Maintaining ongoing communication with clients and relevant authorities.
Participating in meetings with senior staff to develop individualized client interaction skills.
Performing other duties related to the role.
Essential Qualifications:
* Qualified Tax Technician or Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualifications.
* At least two years' experience working in a professional environment.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and organizational skills.
