IT Manager - SME Privately owned Client
Our client is looking for an IT Manager and their emphasis is on finding someone who comes from a SME sector client who can help drive the business forward when it comes to IT Operations and Strategy. The client is based Dublin 4 and the role is on site 4 days per week for the first 3 months and then 3 days on site / 2 days from home. Excellent company whereby you will be the sole IT person, and the role will report into the CFO. The role will help drive IT and Technology for the company as they grow over the next 5 years.
Experience & Skills Required for the role:
* Minimum 10 years' IT experience with a minimum 3 years' experience in managing an IT function in a similar sector of organisation (ideally consumer goods (FMCG, manufacturing, distribution).
* Knowledge of IT hardware and software and cloud solutions and the ability to manage the entire spectrum of information technology operations.
* Detailed knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices to ensure data protection and network security.
* Experience with IT project management, from planning to execution/implementation and monitoring.
* Optimise business user applications (ERP, CRM, management information, other), automate business processes including through the implementation of new applications, and development of management information and reporting.
* Experience with MRP or ERP systems.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
* A relevant 3rd level qualification in Information Technology.
* Any relevant certifications/qualifications in IT (Nice to have).
* Someone who has previous experience managing 3rd party vendors and suppliers.
