Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our caring team at Beechtree Nursing Home. The successful candidate will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards, delivering holistic, person-centred nursing care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life for each resident.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and maintain a high standard of nursing care in accordance with Beechtree's policies and best practice guidelines.
* Ensure all care is resident-focused, promoting dignity, privacy, and independence.
* Supervise and support Care Assistants, delegating duties effectively.
* Assist residents with daily living activities and implement individualised care plans.
* Prepare, update, and evaluate resident-specific care plans in collaboration with residents and their families.
* Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
* Promote and maintain Infection Prevention and Control standards in accordance with Beechtree's programme.
* Document all care, incidents, and communication accurately and promptly.
* Participate in ongoing training, education, and professional development.
* Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering teamwork and continuous improvement.
* Uphold the highest levels of confidentiality, professionalism, and respect.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
* Nursing Qualification.
* Currently registered (or eligible for registration) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Desirable:
* Previous experience in care of the elderly or residential care settings.
