Job Title: Advanced Healthcare Professional
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with front-line teams in providing high-quality support services to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor the impact of individualized support services and lead/co-coordinate with management teams to deliver quality services to individuals supported in specialist service areas.
* Develop and implement effective care plans, working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and families.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including the Health Act 2007 (Care and Support of Residents in Designated Centres for Persons (Children and Adults) With Disabilities) Regulations 2013 and Shaping the Future of Intellectual Disability Nursing in Ireland (2018).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Be a Registered Nurse (Intellectual Disability) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or eligible for registration.
* Have a broad base of clinical experience relevant to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy in Intellectual Disability.
* Hold a Master's Degree in Nursing or a relevant field, with a focus on advanced practice in intellectual disability nursing.
* Be able to undertake 500 hours of supervised advanced clinical practice to develop clinical competency.
