Job Title: Catering Assistant
Our team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced catering professional to support our corporate events in County Waterford. The ideal candidate will have the skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of breakfast and lunch spreads for large groups
* Setting up the salad/deli bar with fresh ingredients
* Food preparation and presentation with attention to detail
* Maintenance of high food safety standards according to HACCP procedures
* Daily cleaning duties following established protocols
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of six months experience working in a commercial kitchen or catering environment
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Experience in food preparation, salad bar setup, and counter displays
* Barista skills are an asset
* Ability to adapt to new environments and work under pressure
* Experience handling cash transactions and operating a point-of-sale system
