Director, Ground Service Equipment Sales
This is a leadership role overseeing company's OEM and Latin America sales policies objectives and initiatives.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies to accelerate growth managing major OEM accounts fostering partnerships with key stakeholders and providing leads for new products.
The Director will also develop and execute a Latin American sales network identify possible agents and service centers throughout the region and attend trade shows and conferences to provide strategic input into marketing and support required.
Additionally the Director will create customer relationships exchange industry information develop new leads and monitor overall performance satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
1. Develop and implement strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth.
2. Responsible for all aspects of 2 major OEM accounts.
3. Visit OEM headquarters service centers and maintenance facilities on a routine basis to foster/grow partnerships with key stakeholders.
4. Provide leads for new products from OEM for new platforms service centers production line and maintenance operations at OEM by working with OEM engineers and company personnel.
5. Develop execute and provide input for a Latin American sales network by identifying possible agents service centers throughout Latin America.
6. Attend and support the appropriate trade shows and conferences and provide strategic input into the appropriate level of marketing and support required.
7. Create all-level customer relationships to exchange industry information develop new leads and monitor overall performance satisfaction.
8. Provide continuous feedback regarding all products encountered in the field and in dealings with the customers to ensure maximum benefit to GSE.
9. Report sales forecasts to support production planning.
10. Develop pricing and performance strategies for individual sales accounts to ensure a profitable success rate.
11. Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on opportunities expansion business development new products etc.
12. Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.
13. Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships new and existing.
14. Collaborate with diverse teams marketing sales engineering customer experience etc.
15. Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for Senior Leadership Team.
16. Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
2. 10 years or more in customer development or equivalent role requires aviation-based Ground Service Equipment GSE sales experience preferably to include Latin American Sales.
3. Mechanical/Technical aptitude a plus.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills ability to report on sales performance.
5. Adept at creative problem solving risk mitigation and resolution negotiation.
6. Expert organizational skills.
7. Experience working on developing policies and managing commercial sales projects.
8. An equivalent amount of education training and experience may be substituted for these requirements at the discretion of the company.
9. Expert with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook Word Excel and Power Point.
10. Travel 25-50% depending on home base location.
11. On site at OEM facilities minimum 1 week per month.

2. Communicate effectively and timely by telephone and email use fingers hands and arms to reach.
3. Able to drive fly and use other modes of travel as required.
