Sous Chef Job Opportunity
We are recruiting for a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef or a strong Senior CDP ready to take on new challenges.
About the Role
* This is a leadership role within a busy, well-structured kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in daily operations and driving consistent standards.
* The successful candidate will contribute to menu development, train and mentor junior kitchen staff, and ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations
2. Lead the team during service and ensure high-quality food output across all sections
3. Assist in menu planning, seasonal dish development, and specials training
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in a quality hotel, restaurant, or gastro-style venue
* Strong culinary ability and passion for seasonal, locally sourced produce
* Confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
