Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Construction Quality Manager, who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality of construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in capital project execution, delivering quality programs for major projects, and working in large teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the quality of construction projects, ensuring adherence to specifications and industry standards.
* Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects.
* Develop and implement quality control plans, including inspection and test plans (ITPs).
* Liaise with the engineering project manager and site leadership team to ensure smooth project progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Level 8 qualification in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
* At least 15 years of experience in capital project execution, with a focus on quality management.
* Proven ability to work in large teams and manage construction teams effectively.
* Detailed knowledge of engineering codes and regulations.
