Digital Marketing Executive
Catalyst Media Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office) Reports to: Digital Marketing Manager Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking a creative, organised, and commercially minded Digital Marketing Executive to join the team at Catalyst Media. This is a hands‑on role spanning copywriting, content planning, social media execution, webinar coordination, and media partner administration across our portfolio of brands, including Dublin Tech Summit and the European Motor Show.
You will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and collaborate across internal teams to deliver consistent, high‑quality marketing output that serves both our event and media brands.
Key Responsibilities
Copywriting & Content Creation
Write clear, engaging, and brand‑appropriate copy for websites, social media, paid campaigns, email, brochures, and landing pages
Draft event listings, session descriptions, speaker bios, scripts, and post‑event content
Maintain a consistent tone of voice across multiple brands and platforms
Proofread and edit all outbound marketing content for accuracy and consistency
Social Media Content Planning
Develop and maintain multi‑brand social media content calendars in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager
Plan and draft content for posts, campaigns, and social‑first assets across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and content performance to identify opportunities and refine messaging
Support on‑site content capture and live coverage during events
Webinar & Virtual Content Support
Coordinate logistics and communications for webinars and digital sessions
Draft promotional content including event listings, email invites, social posts, and follow‑up communications
Liaise with speakers to ensure timely delivery of assets and maintain brand consistency across all sessions
Repurpose webinar content into social cutdowns, blog summaries, and marketing collateral
Media Partner Administration
Manage day‑to‑day administration of media partnerships across key event brands, with a primary focus on Dublin Tech Summit and the European Motor Show
Coordinate partner deliverables including logo placement, content contributions, promotional commitments, and accreditation
Maintain accurate records of partner agreements, deadlines, and fulfilment status
Serve as a key point of contact for media partners, ensuring a professional and responsive experience throughout the event cycle
Market & Competitor Research
Conduct research to support campaign development, including competitor activity, event coverage, keyword trends, and content benchmarking
Share insights and recommendations with the Digital Marketing Manager during planning meetings
Brand & Campaign Support
Assist in maintaining brand messaging documents, tone of voice guides, and content standards
Contribute ideas and content for campaigns aligned with business and audience objectives
Support the execution of launch campaigns, partner announcements, and editorial initiatives
Event Support
Take responsibility from time to time for the delivery of small C‑suite events (dinners, breakfast seminars, working lunches – up to 100 attendees), including supplier management, budget oversight, guest list management, and communications
Provide ad hoc support to Event Managers on larger‑scale productions
Experience & Qualifications
1+ years' experience in a corporate environment, preferably within a marketing, communications, or events function
Excellent written English is essential – strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills across both short and long‑form content
Solid understanding of content marketing principles and audience engagement
Experience managing or supporting social media content across multiple platforms
Familiarity with CMS platforms (eg. WordPress), basic design tools (eg. Canva), and webinar platforms (eg. Zoom, ON24) – preferable
Knowledge of HubSpot, SEO best practices, and scheduling tools – preferable (training available)
