Overview
Instrument Technician role (Permanent / Full Time) based around Cork, Ireland. The role involves installation and maintenance of instrumentation systems on site, with emphasis on health, safety and environmental practices.
Responsibilities
* Working on the installation and/or maintenance of instrumentation systems.
* Fault-finding and rectification.
* Providing technical support to the operational teams.
* Carrying out bench test calibrations.
* Loop checking and testing instrument cabling and verification.
* Maintaining accurate inspection and test records to comply with current legislation.
What You’ll Be Doing
* As our Instrument Technician, you’ll work on the delivery of meaty and challenging projects, working closely with our site management team to meet objectives.
What We’re Looking For
* 3+ years\' relevant experience
* Ability to read and understand technical manuals and engineering documentation
* Good literacy in Computer Operating Systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, etc.
* Ability to work to tight schedules and achieve targets, motivated to deliver projects on-time and to budget.
Desirable but not Essential
* Prior experience on Pharmaceutical or Data Centre projects
