We have an exciting opportunity for an In-house Pensions Co‑Ordinator to join our Reward & Benefits team at Tesco Ireland. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality pension administration, governance and colleague service across our pension and life assurance arrangements. Working closely with the Pensions Manager, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our pension schemes are administered accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements. You’ll also help colleagues better understand their benefits, contributing to a positive colleague experience and supporting one of the most important parts of our reward offering. Responsibilities Supporting the day-to-day administration of Tesco Ireland’s pension and life assurance arrangements Working with internal teams, external providers and offshore colleagues to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time Reviewing benefit calculations and supporting retirement, transfer and death claim processes Responding to colleague and scheme queries, including more complex pension-related queries Supporting governance activity, including trustee meeting packs, minutes, compliance monitoring and policy reviews Helping to deliver annual pensions projects such as benefit statements, annual accounts and risk benefit renewals Building strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business and with external partners Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working Promoting pensions as an important part of our colleague benefits offering Following all Tesco policies and always acting with integrity and due diligence Qualifications Experience in pensions administration, including working with DB and DC schemes Knowledge of pension and life assurance processes, including claims handling A strong understanding of pensions legislation, regulation and revenue implications Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to explain complex information clearly Great attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high standard of service The ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Strong analytical skills and confidence working with detailed information Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint Desirable A relevant pensions qualification Experience supporting governance or scheme secretarial activity
