Job Title
We are seeking a skilled Senior Development Officer to join our development team.
1. This role will involve acting as the client representative on housing delivery projects, ensuring new homes are built to the highest standards, on time and within budget.
2. Liaising with design teams, contractors, local authorities and funders to ensure compliance with planning, building regulations and funding requirements.
3. Monitoring budgets, timelines and project quality to provide clear reporting and updates to the development manager and board.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need:
* A degree in construction/development (e.g. Engineering, QS, Construction Mgmt, Architecture).
* 3-5 years' experience in construction project delivery.
* Strong understanding of planning, building control and construction regulations.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A full driving licence and flexibility to travel.
* Bonus points for project management qualifications or housing/AHB sector experience.
