Job Overview
The Electrical QA/QC Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and safety of electrical systems within various projects. Key responsibilities include preparing comprehensive handover inspection and test documentation, as well as operation & maintenance manuals.
Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinate commissioning of electrical systems with internal teams and stakeholders.
* Conduct full reviews of inspection and test documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Review and issue final handover packages to clients.
* Ensure regulatory standards are met throughout installation and inspection.
* Perform quality inspections of installations and manage defect close-out.
* Oversee testing execution on the project.
* Liaise with construction management teams and clients on installation and quality matters.
* Attend quality meetings and contribute to weekly progress reporting on quality items.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess an electrical trade background or a third-level qualification in Electrical or Building Services Engineering, such as NVQ/City and Guilds. A minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar role is essential.
Skillset:
* Good knowledge of installation and commissioning.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational/planning skills.
* Able to self-manage, prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
* Effective communication skills for collaboration with colleagues and clients.
