Company Description
Turner & Townsend is a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries. Working with our clients across real estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources, we transform together delivering outcomes that improve people's lives. Working in partnership makes it possible to deliver the world's most impactful projects and programmes as we turn challenge into opportunity and complexity into success.

Our capabilities include programme, project, cost, asset and commercial management, controls and performance, procurement and supply chain, net zero and digital solutions.

We are majority-owned by CBRE Group, Inc., the world's largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, with our partners holding a significant minority interest. Turner & Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier programme, project and cost management offering in markets around the world.

Europe integration
In June 2024, CBRE and Turner & Townsend announced their intention to combine CBRE's Project Management business with Turner & Townsend (see press release). This transaction has resulted in the newly combined business reach, with more than 20,000 employees globally from 1 January 2025.

In bringing together Turner & Townsend and CBRE Project Management, our ambition is to create a global programme management company that is unmatched in terms of scale and expertise.

Since January, we have worked through several Day One legal transitions, either asset or stock sale transfers. In total for Europe, we are integrating ca. 800 people across 26 countries (12 being entirely new in our portfolio). The complete integration (Day Two) is scheduled to happen in 2026, and impact ca. 2,500 people across these 26 countries.

As we work towards the combination of our two businesses, we are putting our people and clients first through the experience we create for them.

This role requires a strong understanding of change management methodologies, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

You will work closely with the Global Change and Communications team and directly with our Regional Managing Director, Europe, our Europe Integration team and key regional stakeholders (eg. Finance, People, Digital & Technology) as well as local country stakeholders.

Given the regional scope, this role can be based in one of our offices located in Amsterdam, Munich, Paris, Madrid or Dublin.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Change Strategy: Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to develop and implement change management plans aligned with project and organisational goals. This includes impact assessments, stakeholder mapping, and tailored communication and training plans.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage key stakeholders, understand the employee journey and change impacts, and address concerns and resistance through targeted strategies.
* Communication & Training: Create clear, engaging materials - such as briefings, newsletters, and presentations. Establish a change agent network and deliver training to support local adoption and readiness.
* Resistance Management: Proactively identify resistance and implement mitigation strategies, including manager briefings and additional communications.
* Measurement & Reporting: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of change initiatives through structured tracking and stakeholder updates.
* Risk Management: Assess risks related to change initiatives and develop mitigation plans to minimise impact.
* Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and enhance change processes, staying informed of best practices and emerging trends.
* Collaboration & Support: Partner with project teams and business leaders to ensure successful implementation, and support project managers in planning and executing change activities.

Qualifications

* Previous experience of working on M&A change activity is essential, preferably in Europe.
* Proven experience in a change management role, ideally within a professional firm/ consultancy environment.
* High levels of discretion, collaboration and ability to navigate complexity.
* Strong understanding of project and change management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Prosci, ADKAR).
* Excellent communication, creativity, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to develop and deliver engaging training programs.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in developing and implementing communication plans.
* Relevant change management certification (e.g., Prosci Certified Change Practitioner) is highly desirable.
* Resilient and adaptable, able to work effectively despite ambiguity, in an environment where priorities and goal posts can often change.
* High-energy, positive attitude, welcoming challenges and looking to make change happen.

The successful candidate will be expected to uphold our Code of Conduct. This includes acting with integrity, respecting diversity and inclusion, and contributing to a positive and sustainable work environment.
