Access are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join a growing Geo team in Ireland. The role involves conducting geotechnical investigations, analyzing soil and rock properties, and providing expert recommendations for construction and engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform geotechnical site investigations and soil sampling.
- Analyze soil, rock, and groundwater data.
- Prepare geotechnical reports and recommendations.
- Design foundations, retaining structures, and earthworks.
- Conduct slope stability and settlement analysis.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct fieldwork and adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
- Full driving license and willingness to travel for fieldwork.
