We're looking for dedicated, innovative and driven talent to join our expanding team. The role would an initial 6 month contract but there is scope to extend this to a year. Experience/Attributes: Proven experience as an Automation Engineer with increased levels of responsibility Experience designing, implementing and supporting automation solutions for clients in the Pharmaceutical and/or Biotechnology industries. Good knowledge of GAMP lifecycle and quality management processes employed in the pharmaceutical sector. Experience with Siemens Step or Rockwell ControlLogix Good analytical & problem solving skills Excellent communication skills Leadership abilities, works well in a team environment. Responsibilities: Must have minimum of 4+ years pharma experience. Analyse, understand, fault-find and modify software programs written by other developers as required during the migration Preparation and review of Design Documentation, Tender Documents and URS documents as required for the purpose of the migration Generate, review and approval of all Project Documentation (Risk Assessment, Scope, Hand Over etc), Validation Documentation (FAT, IQ-OQ etc), Trial Reports and Standard Operating Procedures Update and Develop End user manuals (SOPs and Training Aids) and provide training on new equipment / process functionality as required during the migration Perform technical review of updates to SOPs related to the equipment / process as required during the migration Essential Skills: 5+ Years Automation Experience in a GMP environment Automation PLC experience required in Siemens S7, Allen Bradley PLCs, Rockwell Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or equivalent Experience working in a Validated environment with strong discipline with regard to change control Experience working with integration of SCADA systems with MES Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving skills Ability to document own work clearly and precisely to company standards Good team player Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organisational skills particularly when working to tight schedules Ability to understand technical documents and can communicate description of problems and solutions Previous experience with IQ, OQ and project documentation To apply for this inclusive and collaborative OEM Engineer job, do not hesitate to contact Cognizant today.
