Responsibilities include providing assessment and interventions to older persons with various rehabilitation needs, developing and implementing individualized rehabilitation plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, educating patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment, monitoring and documenting patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, providing guidance and support to junior therapists and occupational therapy assistants.
Requirements include a bachelor's or master's degree in occupational therapy, CORU registration, minimum of 3-5 years of experience in rehabilitation, and a full driving license and access to own car is desirable. Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction are also required.
