The Role We are seeking an experienced Interim General Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight during a critical transitional period.
The organisation is currently facing challenges and requires a skilled professional to identify inefficiencies, improve cross-departmental collaboration, and develop a clear, actionable plan to move towards financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities Undertake a full organisational review, analysing systems, processes, and resources.
Identify cost savings and efficiency gains across all departments.
Establish cross-functional ways of working, reducing duplication and silo mentality.
Provide the Board with clear, evidence-based recommendations and action plans.
Support the implementation of immediate turnaround measures to address financial deficits.
Ensure staff engagement throughout the process, communicating changes clearly and constructively.
Person Specification Proven track record in interim management, business turnaround, or organisational change.
Strong financial acumen with experience in addressing and reversing deficits.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at board level.
Demonstrated ability to break down silos and build collaborative working cultures.
Highly analytical, able to identify inefficiencies and propose practical solutions.
Experience of producing clear, actionable reports and strategic plans.
Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on problem-solving.
Experience in leading project teams regarding the commissioning of services Desirable Experience in the non-profit, charitable, or voluntary sector.
Hours and days are flexible and we can work with the individual around a suitable schedule and time commitment.
