Established in 1951, IOM is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and nongovernmental partners. Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission, the direct supervision of the Head of the Integration Unit, the Project Coordinator will oversee the implementation of programme activities supporting Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTPs) in Ireland.
This role will directly manage a team of four caseworkers and two senior associates, overseeing the delivery of processes related to the transition of BOTP's into transitional accommodation settings across Ireland. The position will also provide oversight of additional programme workstreams to ensure alignment and effective use of synergies. The role will include other programme-related responsibilities as required.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Implement the operational strategy of the project aiming to support BOTP's in Ireland in line with the project Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
2. Supervise and train Caseworkers to undertake vulnerability and needs assessments to BOTP's in emergency accommodation settings.
3. Supervise Senior Associates while overseeing concurrent workstreams, ensuring all activities are seamlessly integrated and aligned to achieve optimal project outcomes. Coordinate the effective implementation of SOPs in the field and provide technical guidance to and assist in coordinating the work of all workstreams.
4. Build the capacity of Senior Associates and Caseworkers to implement operations efficiently and effectively, and in line with project SOP's.
5. Manage day-to-day activities, ensure smooth and efficient operations including liaising with the donor and other relevant stakeholders, as well as coordinating and overseeing logistical/administrative support as requested.
6. Support the Mission drafting processes and procedures to ensure data accuracy for all records in IOM internal software platforms and report on project results periodically in a timely manner as per donor requirement.
7. Maintain and ensure confidentiality of all projects related matters in accordance with guidelines and instructions. Take active steps to. mitigate fraud and malfeasance, and to monitor the integrity of records containing individual data.
8. Perform any other duties as may be assigned
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
* University degree in Business Administration, Social Science or a related field from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience.
* School diploma with seven years relevant professional experience or;
Experience
* Proven experience in a similar setting and capacity.
* Experience managing and supervising a team.
* Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Good knowledge of information technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Publisher.
* Previous work experience in international, governmental or non-governmental organizations.
* Project management experience would be considered an advantage.
Skills

* Strong interpersonal & intercultural skills with an attention to detail.
Languages
For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written).
Proficiency in Ukrainian or Russian would be an asset, along with any other official IOM language.
