Finance Business Partner Glasgow/Hybrid 6-month contract On behalf of our public sector client, we are recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing finance team providing essential financial insight and support across the organisation. This is a key role in driving effective financial planning, performance monitoring, and stakeholder engagement. Duties: *Provide financial support and analysis to business units *Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and period-end reporting *Prepare accruals and adjustments, and ensure account validation *Ensure compliance with financial governance and internal controls *Conduct financial analysis to identify risks and opportunities *Support investment appraisals and cost modelling *Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks Essential Skills & Experience *Part-qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA) *Strong Excel and financial data analysis skills *Solid understanding of financial control, risk, and compliance *Excellent communication and influencing skills *Experience in financial planning and reporting *Ability to translate complex accounting principles into practical insight *Proven stakeholder engagement and business partnering experience Desirable *Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ICAEW) *Experience working in complex or fast-paced financial environments *Familiarity with project management principles *Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management *Experience with Oracle-based systems and Power BI If you are interested in hearing more or to be considered for this role, apply here or contact Sophie Keogh at Cpl NI.
