Job Description: As a landscape development foreperson, you will be part of a small team undertaking urban landscaping development works on commercial and public authority sites.
These projects often involve groundswork, drainage, concrete paving work as well as soft landscaping activities such as planting trees and hedging.
Main Responsibilities: To carry out site assessments with the Site Manager to identify required resources for each project To plan resource allocation in conjunction with site programs ensuring timely completion of tasks, maintain accurate records and provide technical advice where necessary.
You will also be responsible for managing daily operations at the absence of the Site Manager including overseeing groundworks, fencing decking construction including traffic management plans Maintenance winter planting aftercare focusing on keeping completed projects well-maintained To comply health & safety requirements hold up-to-date certifications 'Safe Pass' manual handling ticket (at least three months validity), obtain CSCS mini digger license full driving permit advantage understanding maps basic knowledge use levels offer excellent communication skills working colleagues customers participation organise regular training workshops equipment courses advance professional qualifications relevant industry employees perform job effectively competently stay safe today
