Position Description:
The Investment Operations Manager will oversee the Loan Operations team, responsible for maintaining and processing all lifecycle events for Private Credit, managing client deliverables, and developing best-in-class processes to meet the evolving private loans market.
The manager will lead a team of Loan operation SMEs specializing in servicing private loans.
What you’ll do:
* Manage all client and team deliverables, ensuring adherence to best practices.
* Create and implement operational standards and procedures.
* Support professional development of staff and supervisors.
* Become a subject matter expert on processing complex lifecycle events such as restructures.
* Stay informed of industry developments.
* Maintain good relationships with clients, internal teams, vendors, loan agents, and relationship managers across a global team.
* Manage resource planning, collaborating with other teams.
* Train, coach, and mentor new employees; motivate staff.
* Ensure client service excellence and timely query resolution.
* Lead or participate in initiatives and projects related to operational improvements and efficiencies.
What you bring to the table:
* At least 10 years’ experience in Alternative funds, with a minimum of 5 years in private credit/loan operations;
* 4 years in a supervisory or management role;
* Knowledge of portfolio accounting systems;
* Knowledge of Power BI, Alteryx automation tools (desirable);
* B.S./B.A. in Accounting/Finance or related field.
