Community Mental Health Nurse
The Lucena Clinic provides a comprehensive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service to defined catchment areas, with a population under 18 of 172,585, residing in South Dublin City and County plus North and West County Wicklow. Our clinic operates clinics in Tallaght, Rathgar, Dun Laoghaire, Bray, Wicklow town and Arklow.
Role Summary
We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Community Mental Health Nurses to work as part of a service for children and adolescents with mental health challenges. Community Mental Health Nurses have a pivotal role in the delivery of effective, recovery orientated, high quality, team based and integrated care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide assessment and support to individuals and families through the delivery of appropriate treatment and recovery orientated interventions.
* Work towards a reduction in the need for acute hospitalization.
Requirements
* Registered, or eligible for registration, in the Psychiatric Nurses Division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives.
* A minimum of 5 years post-registration experience.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience working in CAMHS settings.
* Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development.
