As Accountant you will have a 'can do' attitude and a 'hands on' approach with full responsibility for all financial, taxation, legal and compliance aspects of the company's business.
This involves analysing financial performance, advising the Senior Management Team on these findings and proposing recommendations for increasing the company's efficiency and profitability.
You will work closely with multiple teams including sales, finance, aftersales and senior management.

Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership, direction and management of the finance functionProvide commercial recommendations to the FD and members of the senior management teamImplement robust financial, controls and reporting systemsManage Monthly management accounts and monthly variance analysis & operational KPIsStrong cashflow management and forecasting of working capital requirementsPreparation of statutory accounts and liaise with auditors on audit & corporate taxationProactively assist the FD and Senior Management Team in reviewing the operations, providing accurate and timely financial information, review KPIs and provide commercial input into decisionsEnsure regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met - PAYE, VAT, CSO, CRO returns Experience & QualificationsHighly motivated qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)2 years practical experienceA high degree of commercial awareness with excellent analytical, technical and IT skillsExtensive management experience with a 'hands on' approach and ability to use initiativeExcellent time management and organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise workloadExcellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and excellent presentation skillsStrong problem solving skills with pragmatic approach and time management skillsStrong accounts preparation & business analysis experience requiredStrong attention to detail and the ability to multi-taskAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAdvanced MS Excel knowledge / modelling skills are essential BenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceCompany Pension*Bike to Work Scheme *Professional Membership fees**Available upon successful completion of a probationary period.
