Position SummaryAs a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter Apprentice, you will work alongside a fully qualified Mechanical Maintenance Fitter who will mentor you throughout your training. You'll gain hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, equipment, and infrastructure used in water and wastewater treatment facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow all safety procedures and company policies, including lockout/tagout and confined space requirements.Assist in the installation, servicing, and repair of pumps, valves, gearboxes, bearings, and other mechanical components.Support maintenance activities on treatment plant equipment, pipelines, and associated mechanical systems.Learn to use precision tools and instruments to measure, align, and assemble mechanical parts.Assist with troubleshooting mechanical faults and performing preventive maintenance tasks.Work with peers to dismantle, inspect, and rebuild mechanical assemblies.Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment serviced.Requirements:Must have at least 2 years' experienceGood attitude & willingness to learnFlexibility to travel to various sitesFull clean driver's licenseOfficial Apprentice Rates offered.
