Working in collaboration with local authorities, approved housing bodies, and public sector clients, we deliver high-quality residential developments that support sustainable communities.Due to continued expansion and an increasing project pipeline, we are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team.Role SummaryThe Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial management of residential construction projects, ensuring effective cost control, value for money, and contractual compliance from project commencement through to final account.This role suits a commercially aware professional who enjoys working closely with site teams and contributing to the successful delivery of housing projects nationwide.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final accountCost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reportingPreparation and review of tender documentation, BOQs, and cost plansProcurement and appointment of subcontractors and suppliersMeasurement and valuation of works on sitePreparation of interim valuations and payment applicationsManagement of subcontractor accounts, variations, and final accountsMonthly cost value reconciliation (CVR) reportingManagement of change control and variation processesLiaison with site management, project managers, consultants, and clientsEnsuring compliance with contract conditions, public sector procurement requirements, and company proceduresCandidate RequirementsDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related disciplineMinimum 5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveyor roleExperience in residential construction (social housing experience advantageous)Good knowledge of construction contracts and cost control proceduresStrong organisational, communication, and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and commercial reporting toolsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary package, commensurate with experienceLong-term role with a growing Irish construction companySupportive and collaborative team environmentCareer progression opportunities as the company continues to growJob Type: Full-timePay: €45,000.00-€50,000.00 per yearWork Location: Hybrid remote in Carndonagh, County Donegal
