Role Profile
The successful candidate is responsible to work between R&D and Supplier Engineering to get a new supplier on board, this will coordinate testing of the new material, Project Managing the build and ensuring the line won't go down.
Work with R&D to come up with solutions.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and lead the implementation of alternative materials through best practices in research, analysis, and selection
Interacting with R&D and other functions to define test builds to better understand next steps
Collaborating with project team and base business product teams to define solutions.
Own and drive process, equipment value improvement projects, and strategic cost projects within designated areas.
Provide inputs on Equipment/Systems issues, offering corrective or alternative actions based on thorough analyses.
Foster continuous improvement by interfacing with peers and cross-functional groups to enhance workflows and methodologies
Qualifications
Degree required:
Level 8 bachelors related engineering degree: manufacturing, mechanical, quality, bio-medical
Proven experience:
2/3 years minimum experience
