We are seeking a proactive and professionalHR Generalistto support our people and managers across all group companies. This role is based out of our head office inMallow, Co. Cork.Purpose of the Role:TheHR Generalistsupports the effective delivery of HR services across EPS Group's jurisdictions. The role provides guidance on employee relations, oversees core HR operations, ensures legislative compliance, and contributes to HR projects that enhance employee engagement, organizational capability, and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Employee Relations & Performance ManagementProvide timely advice to managers on employee relations issues including performance, conduct, grievances, absence management and return-to-work processes.Lead investigations, disciplinary procedures, grievance hearings, and conflict resolution.Assist with developing and monitoring performance improvement plans (PIPs).Manage occupational health referrals and ensure appropriate documentation and follow-up.Support employee engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives.Help mediate and resolve workplace issues to maintain positive employee relations.Operations & ComplianceCoordinate onboarding, contractual changes, jurisdictional transfers (including TUPE), and offboarding.Maintain accurate HR records, documentation and HRIS data across all regions.Assist with insurance, workplace injury and illness claim reporting.Ensure HR processes, policies and documentation are up-to-date and consistently applied across Ireland, NI, UK Scotland.Support annual updates of the Employee Handbook and appendices.Assist with compliance efforts relating to statutory and legislative changes, including EU Pay Transparency Directive requirements.Contribute to HR reporting, audits and compliance reviews.Policy, Governance & People DevelopmentDraft, review and communicate updates to HR policies, ensuring version control and alignment across jurisdictions.Assist with coordinating training for managers and supervisors in essential people management skills.Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that improve processes, systems and employee experience.Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation (Irish essential; UK/NI/Scotland desirable).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility.High attention to detail with strong organisational and administrative abilities.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.Proficient in MS Office and HR systems.Experience & Qualifications3-4 years' experience in a HR Generalist, HR Advisor, or similar role.CIPD qualification (Level 7) or working towards it preferred.Experience supporting managers with employee relations matters.Exposure to multi-jurisdiction HR environments desirable.Additional InformationThe role is primarily based in Mallow but may require occasional travel across Ireland, NI and UK.Flexibility to support HR activities across different business areas and sites.We welcome speculative applications from individuals of all levels.If you are interested in working with us but are not sure if the role above is for you, please feel free to get in touch for an informal discussion about what we do and what you could bring to the team.
