Job Title
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager for our clients Plant Management Team. This pivotal role is responsible for providing strategic leadership across various engineering domains, including Process and Project Engineering, Maintenance, Blow Moulding, Tooling, and Automation.
The Engineering Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.
* Engineering Leadership: Provide technical leadership on product and process issues, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
* Team Management: Directly supervise, lead, and develop a cross-functional team of engineers, fostering a proactive culture.
* Project Planning: Prioritize, plan, and schedule all engineering work to meet production needs.
* Process Improvement: Implement and maintain robust systems to enhance the reliability and repeatability of manufacturing processes.
* Data-Driven Improvement: Utilize data analytics to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives in process performance.
* System Development: Create and maintain an engineering and maintenance management system that aligns with best practices and organizational goals.
* Support for NPI: Provide strong support for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, ensuring smooth integration into production.
Qualifications Required:
* Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a similar role, with proven expertise in process and project engineering, maintenance, and automation.
* Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing cross-functional engineering teams.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in Blow Moulding, Tooling, and Automation.
* Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
* Project Management: Experience in project planning, prioritization, and execution.
* Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with various stakeholders.
* Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
